Part One: How to Download, Install & Register Android SMS Transfer

Download Jihosoft Android SMS Backup

Go to the download page, you will see two options for you: Personal Edition and Family Edition. The Personal Edition allows you to run Android SMS Transfer on only one Android phone, while the Family Edition supports for 5 Android phones. Choose the edition you need and click to download the app.

Install the App on Android Phone and PC

Decompress the downloaded zip file, you will see two folders: Phone Port and PC Port. To install Jihosoft Android SMS Backup on Android phone, transfer the .apk file contained in Phone Port to Android via USB cable or Bluetooth. To install the app on your PC, just double-click the installation package in PC Port.

Register Jihosoft Android SMS Transfer

After placing an order, you will receive a registration email from us, in which you will find the registration information: Regname and Regcode. Input the Regname and Regcode to the corresponding place, and you will successfully register the program on your Android phone.

Part Two: How to Backup & Restore Android SMS

Run this SMS Backup on Android

Start Jihosoft Android SMS Transfer on your Android Phone. On the main interface, you will see two options: Backup SMS and Restore SMS.

Backup Android SMS to SD Card

Click “Backup SMS”, a pop-up window will hints you to input a file name for the file backed up. Ignore it if you want to use the default name. Click “OK”, your Android SMS will be automatically saved to SD card in .db file.

Restore SMS to Android Phone

Click “Restore” and choose the .db file in your phone. Click “OK” to begin restoring SMS to Android phone. When it is finished, a pop-up window will show you “SMS restored successfully”. You will see all SMS in your phone’s mailbox.

Part Three: How to View, Edit & Print Out Android Text Messages on PC

Run Android SMS Transfer on PC

Launch Android SMS Transfer on your computer. Transfer the .db file from your Android phone’s SD card to PC via USB cable or SD card reader. Click “File” then “Import” to load the .db file to the program.

View, Edit & Print Out Android SMS

Your Android SMS will be presented to you as what you see in your phone. You can directly view and edit the text messages, for example, change the Number, Content, Date of a message. Besides, you can click “Print” button to print out SMS in amazing threading mode.
