Q: What should I do If the link failed to parse?
A: There are many factors that can cause parsing failure, the following are some common solutions:

1)Upgrade the software to the latest version. It is continuously updated along with the YouTube algorithm is updated.
2)Switch your proxy to Global mode. The PAC mode has limited coverage.
3)Enable proxy in the program (Click Settings > Proxy > Enable > OK).
4)Check whether the video can be played or accessed normally in your country. If there are restrictions, switch your IP address until the video can be played normally.
5)Check if the video is age-restricted. If yes, please log in to your Google account first.
6)Check if your network is well connected during the download process.
7)Check if your IP address is blocked (If the video download fails suddenly). If yes, set “Use cookies in Chrome to download” in the Preferences menu.
8)Check if the live is complete (If you download a live video).
9)Check if the video has been deleted or private.
Q: What should I do if I don't receive the license key?
A: Normally, we will send the license key to your email as soon as the payment is successful. If you have not received your license key, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
Q: What should I do if the registration code is invalid?
A: After receiving the registration code, we recommend that you copy & paste it into the program directly. If you are prompted that the registration code is invalid, it may be because of a typing error, there is no case sensitivity, there are spaces, or the network is not connected.

In addition, if you click the "Register" button too many times quickly, our program will take time to respond. Sometimes, it prompts that your registration code is incorrect. In fact, you have successfully registered it. You can close the software and run it again to see if it is activated.

If you still cannot register our program, please send us the screenshot of the window when you enter the registration code in the panel, but do not click the "Register" button, thanks for your patience.
Q: How can I upgrade to the Pro version?
A: Click the Buy Now button to jump to the purchase page and select your plan. The Personal Edition allows you to use a lifetime license key on 1 computer, and the Family Edition allows you to use a lifetime license key on 5 computers.

Next, enter your email address in the blank box and select PayPal check out. Once the order is verified, our system will send the registration information to your email within a few minutes.

After you received the email, find and copy the 20-digit registration code from there. Then open the program, click the Key icon in the main interface, enter your email address here and paste the registration code into the corresponding box. Afterward, tap the Activate button, and you will be upgraded to the Pro version. That’s to say, you can enjoy all the fantastic features without any limitations.
Q: How to download a YouTube channel or playlist?
A: Go to YouTube, find the YouTube channel or playlist you want to download, then copy its link address and paste it into the program. After parsing, you can choose to download all or mark some of your favorite videos, then click "Download" and wait for the download process to complete.

Note: When there are more than 100 videos in a playlist or channel, the software will automatically download all videos with the best quality, and no window will pop up after pasting the link. If you need to customize the output format and resolution of the video, it is recommended that you enable the one-click download mode in advance.
Q:How can I convert YouTube videos to MP3?
A:While analyzing the video link, a pop-up box will show in the program, from where you have the option to convert YouTube video to MP3 audio.

Q:Does the software download video with sound?
A:Sure, all videos will be downloaded with sound. You can also download the original audio if you like.
Q:Can I download YouTube videos in 1080P or 4K quality?
A:Of course, our software supports multiple resolutions, including 720P, 1080P, 2K, 4K, 8K, etc. All downloaded videos can maintain their original quality.
Q:Does the software limit the duration and size of the video?
A:No, Jihosoft 4K Video Downloader can download up to 12 hours of video. However, if the video file is too large, the download speed will be slower.
Q:Why the downloaded video cannot be played?
A:The reason why the video can't play normally may be that it's not compatible with your default player. It's recommended to change your default player or download and install the VLC media player and try again.
Q:How to download subtitles from YouTube?
A:Our program supports downloading original, system-translated, and automatically generated subtitles of YouTube videos. All you need to do is check the “Download subtitles” option in the pop-up window after the video link is resolved. Once the subtitles are downloaded, they will be saved in SRT and VTT formats and can be directly added to the video while playing.
Q:How to merge subtitles into the video?
A:After downloading, directly click the conversion button next to the video, select the video output format, then click "Add Subtile", and check"Burn-in" or "Softcode". Next, tap the "Convert" icon, wait for the video conversion to complete. Once the process is finished, you will be able to open the folder to watch the video merged with the subtitles.
Q:Can I add downloaded videos to iTunes or Google Drive?
A:Sure, open the folder, find the video you just downloaded, and then you can add it to anywhere you like.

A:By default, all downloaded videos will be automatically saved to C:/Users/Administrator/Videos/4K Video Downloader, you can change the directory by clicking the Menu icon and selecting Preferences > Save Directory > Browse, then tap OK.
